The Royal Gazette published the announcement of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand on the establishment of World Industrial Estate (Lamphun) 2 on April 4, 2025, signed by Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Chairman of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand.

World Industrial Estate (Lamphun) 2, Muang District, Lamphun Province, is the 72nd industrial estate of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, with an investment value of over 1,816 million baht. When it opens for operation, it is expected to generate investment value in the country of approximately 17,584 million baht and create approximately 4,396 additional jobs.

There are target industries including electronics industry, agricultural industry and agricultural products, light industry, public utilities and basic services.

In the area of Makhuea Chae Subdistrict and Ban Klang Subdistrict, Mueang Lamphun District, Lamphun Province, an area of approximately 621 rai (99.4 ha).

世界工業団地(ランプーン)2（ムアン郡、ランプーン県）は、タイ工業団地局の72番目の工業団地であり、投資額は18億1,600万バーツを超えています。操業開始時には、同国に約175億8,400万バーツの投資額を生み出し、約4,396人の雇用を創出すると見込まれています。

誘致対象産業には、電子工業、農業・農産物、軽工業、公益事業、基本サービスなどがあります。

ランプーン県ムアンランプーン地区のマクエアチェ地区とバンクラン地区のエリアは、約621ライ（９９．４ヘクタール）の敷地面積です。

Songkran (April 13-15), the Thai New Year's Period, was relatively quiet in my area, with no buckets of ice water or ice cubes being dumped on people, thanks in part to police enforcement. However, some areas of Greater Bangkok still seemed to be in a wild party.

タイの正月・ソンクラーンの祝日中（4月13～15日）、私の住む地域では比較的静かで、警察の取締りのおかげもあって、バケツに入った氷水や角氷が人々に投げつけられることもなかった。しかし、グレーター・バンコクの一部の地域では、まだ乱痴気騒ぎが続いていたようだった。

Songkran is a Thailand New Year's tradition that takes place from April 13 to 15 each year.

It is a festival filled with happiness, fun, and gratitude.

The main activities of Songkran are watering the heads of adults to ask for blessings, accumulating merits and giving alms, and playing in the water, which is very popular with the younger generation. Also, each region of Thailand has different styles of celebration that reflect the local culture and wisdom.

Songkran is not only a water festival, but also an important time for relatives to gather. Show respect and start something new with happiness and hope.

ソンクラーンは、4月13日から15日まで開催されるタイの新年の伝統行事です。

毎年4月は、幸せと楽しさ、そして感謝の気持ちが詰まったお祭りです。ソンクラーンの主な活動は、大人の頭に水をやって祝福を求めたり、功徳を積んで施しをしたり、若い世代にとても人気のある水遊びをしたりすることです。

また、タイの各地域には、地元の文化や知恵を反映したさまざまなお祝いのスタイルがあります。

ソンクラーンは水祭りであるだけでなく、親戚が集まる重要な時期でもあります。尊敬を示し、幸せと希望を持って新しいことを始めます。

私の住む高層コンドミニアムの全ての部屋には浅くないクラックが認められた。ビルを管理している大手の管理会社はすぐさま、居住者の部屋の被害状況報告用のgoogleフォームを配布した。このgoogleフォームでは１０メガバイトまでの写真を添付できた。今後、管理会社からフォローアップが行われるのだろう。

Cracks, some not shallow, have been found in every room of the high-rise condominium where I live. Building's management company, a major Thai local firm, promptly distributed a Google form for residents to report the damage to their rooms. This Google form allowed photo attachments of up to 10 megabytes. It is likely that follow-ups will be conducted by the management company in the near future.
